Join us for some good old fashioned Griswold family fun in Castleton on Saturday, December 7!
Start the day by making a donation to Castleton Cares food shelf at Prunier's Market between 9AM-1PM for a "stuff a truck" event with our Fire Department, then head into the Village at 11AM for some arts and crafts at the Castleton Free Library and make your own photo ornament at the Heritage Family Credit Union (maybe do both!). Bundle up because your day is just starting! Visit the Christmas Market from 12-5PM in the parking lot of the former Texaco Station (located adjacent to the credit union on Main Street) to purchase some unique gifts from our local businesses. We are not done! Kick off the evening by being present at the Castleton Free Library for the lighting the Tree of Remembrance at 5PM, which is immediately followed by a lighted parade down Main Street.
If you haven't had your fill of food made available for purchase at the local businesses in the Village, or from the food truck at the Christmas Market, then head over to the library to listen to a Ukulele Band and enjoy some hot and cold treats at 6PM. Well, Cousin Eddy, if that isn't your cup of eggnog, then head on over to the Castleton Fire Department for cookies with Santa at 6PM. It will be the hap, hap, happiest cookie eating time of your life!
We hope to see your smiling faces, rosy colored cheeks, and button noses on December 7th!
