Formed in 2021 through the generous support of the vanderHeyden Endowment for the Arts at Saint Michael's College, this 18-piece jazz orchestra features Ray Vega and all new arrangements. The orchestra brings together Vermont's local talent and highlights the evolving jazz community. Saxophonist, composer, and arranger Brian McCarthy draws inspiration from the history of jazz while maintaining a modern awareness.
