Join us for "Happy Hounds & Happy Humans!" at Standing Stone Wines (33 Main St. in Winooski) on Wednesday, Nov. 13th at 6:30pm. Dr. Karen Griffin, PhD, a researcher in canine science and our Executive Director, will guide you through five components of creating a positive relationship with your furry, four-legged friend! You'll be given tips and resources for how to implement them too - whether your dog is tiny or enormous, a spry puppy or a mellow senior, shy or a social butterfly, you'll be well on your way to having a happy you and a happy hound!
This event is also a fundraiser forThe Dog Rehoming Project (www.thedogrehomingproject.org), which is a non-profit organization whose mission is to bridge the gap between research and the people who need it, to put science behind dog sheltering and dog rehoming. Donations can be made through the organization's website in advance (www.thedogrehomingproject.org/donate), or in person at the event. (10% of bar sales during the event will also be donated to The Dog Rehoming Project.)
