The Vermont Choral Union, a 34-person a cappella group directed by Jeff Rehbach, will perform two holiday concerts on Saturday, Dec 6 and Sunday, Dec. 7, featuring a new composition by Vermont composer and cellist Michael Close, and a selection of British and German carols sung during the Christmas truce of 1914. The concert spans music from the medieval times to modern day, with works by Tallis, Gabrieli, Beibl, Grieg and Poulenc, among others.
