BENEFIT CHRISTMAS CONCERT-Sunday, December 7, at 6:30 pm at the Baptist Church at 2806 Route 116 Starksboro.
Susan Nop (piano, accordion, vocals) and Matthew Dickerson (guitar, bass, harmonica, vocals) will be offering special music featuring songs from their Nashville-recorded Christmas CD “The Brilliant Whiteness of Snow” as well as variety of other original songs and covers of their favorite artists such as Over the Rhine, Pierce Pettis, and Buddy and Julie Miller.
Susan and Matthew will be joined by Dutton Smith (bass, violin, percussion, vocals) and Middlebury College students Toni Cross (viola, vocals), Roxane Vairon (violin, vocals), and Christina Brook (percussion).
This is a free concert, but cash or check donations to the Starksboro Food Shelf will be most welcome. All proceeds will go directly to the food shelf. You may also bring nonperishable food items; the items most needed presently are: Juice, mayonnaise, jelly/jam, peanut butter and tuna.
