World War I; a Local Perspective

Nov 8, 2024, 5:30 to 7 PM

The Marshfield Historical Society will commemorate Veterans Day on Friday, November 8, 2024 at 5:30 PM with Mo Ceruttie recalling World War I referencing first-hand accounts from his family archives. He will display his grandfather's uniform which had seen service in France. He will share photos and read selections of articles describing wartime action and consequent impacts on our region's small towns.

Mo will also invite audience members to share their own family stories of WWI. We'll learn together about the too-often neglected world war.

Join us for this special program in the Hap Hayward History Center Friday, November 8 at 5:30 PM on the second floor of the Jaquith Library; Old Schoolhouse Common, 122 School Street, Marshfield, VT.

Free and open to the public.

Please call 802 - 454 - 1680 for more information.
