An informational meeting will be held on Saturday, October 26th to discuss two Town Articles to be voted on at the General Election on November 5th. The meeting will be held at the Town Office/former school and remote participation is available via Zoom by computer or phone.
Article 1. Shall the Town establish a Reserve Fund to be called the ILM 2024 Reserve Fund to be used for improving and maintaining Town Offices, as well as grant match, by depositing up to $79,000 from the General Fund surplus in accordance with 24 V.S.A. § 2804?
Article 2.Shall the voters of Isle La Motte support reserving up to $12,500 of 2024 Town surplus budget funds in support of matching grants to construct a 20 foot x 40 foot outdoor pavilion at the Veterans Recreational Park?
