This coming Saturday Upper Valley Baroque's choir and orchestra will present "Baroque Celebrations", a program of inspiring Baroque choral music from France, Italy, and England. The forty-seven UVB musicians, under the direction of Maestro Filippo Ciabatti, will perform these baroque favorites:
Te Deum by Marc-Antoine Charpentier
Gloria by Antonio Vivaldi
Coronation Anthems by Georg Frideric Handel
Treat yourself to an afternoon of joyous and inspiring music: clarion trumpets, sonorous woodwinds, pounding timpani, lush strings, solo voices, and the resounding harmonies of the choir.
A complimentary reception, featuring homemade treats, will follow the concert. This will be an opportunity to meet the musicians and fellow audience members.
