Hello Old North End neighbors!

This Thursday evening, join your neighbors for a delicious community dinner with live music, followed by the Ward 2 Neighborhood Planning Assembly (NPA) meeting.

This month's NPA meeting is primarily focused on the ballot questions for the upcoming election on November 5.

The NPA meeting is 6:30 - 8:30pm. The agenda includes:

6:30pm - The NPA meeting will start with the usual: intros, announcements, and 10 minutes of public forum.

6:50pm - We'll open the floor to nominations for anyone interested in joining the Steering Committee.
*Note that we have 3 open seats on the Steering Committee! If you're interested in joining or learning more about what it involves, please reach out to any member of the Steering Committee or email us at ward2npa@googlegroups.com.

6:55pm - Darren Springer from Burlington Electric Department (BED) will be presenting on a November Ballot Initiative which would authorize BED to issue a new Net Zero Energy and Grid Reliability Revenue Bond. Bring your questions!

7:25pm - Councilors Grant & Bergman will provide an overview of of the proposed Charter Change to modify the Police Commission and Police Chief's responsibilities and oversight. Come with questions.

7:55pm - Updates from City Councilors & School Commissioners

We'll wrap up around 8:30pm.
