The Taconic and Green Regional School District Board invites everyone to the following community forums on reorganizing our schools. They will be held from 6:00-8:00 pm, as follows:
Tuesday, October 8: Manchester Elem/Middle School
Wednesday, October 23: Currier Memorial School, Danby
Tuesday, October 29: The Dorset School
Wednesday, October 30: Flood Brook School, Londonderry
Each meeting will contain similar information and be formatted the same way. The Superintendent will make a presentation to the audience for about 35-40 minutes, outlining several options. Then the audience will be able to ask questions about the options for about 20 minutes. Following the question period, the audience will be asked share comments with the Board. To make best use of the time, before the forum, the Board encourages everyone to visit the web page entitled "The Future of Our Schools" for detailed information about the work to date. Go to www.brsu.org. The Board will ask people to be succinct in their comments and limit them to 1-2 minutes so everyone has the opportunity to speak. Anyone may attend any of the forums.
A Google form for community members to share input and comments with the Board and will be available at the first forum at Manchester Elementary Middle School and shared publicly after the meeting.
