Join Vermont Literacy Network for a day of bookish fun at the Fall Book Swap! Set in the beautiful Bristol Town Green, this free event is open to the community and is perfect for Addison County families! Swap for new reads and connect with the community in a celebration of literacy and the season.
The Swapping Process:
Here's how it works -- Bring books from home and each child will receive up to 10 swap credits to select new books at the event. Got more than ten books? We welcome donations beyond that number to share the love of reading with others. This swap is all about giving and receiving—so for every book you bring, you'll leave with a fresh story to explore. It's a fantastic way to refresh your bookshelf and share the joy of reading with others in the community.
RSVP and Earn Extra Credits:
We're excited to welcome you to our event, and to make your experience even more special, we're offering an exclusive perk when you RSVP! Each RSVP'd child will receive three free book swap credits. It's our way of saying thank you for planning ahead!
What Books Can You Swap?
Our Fall Book Swap is focused on young readers, so please bring books suitable for ages 0-18. We welcome a wide variety of children's books, including board books, felt books, picture books, chapter books, graphic novels, and young adult novels. Please note that while we love all books, this swap is exclusively for children and teens, so adult books will not be part of the exchange.
Mark your calendar, gather your books, and get ready for a fun-filled day of swapping stories at Bristol Town Green! Vermont Literacy Network is thrilled to introduce this event to the Bristol community and we can't wait to see you there. RSVP now, bring your favorite reads, and join us as we connect our community one word at a time!
