then Left on Little Italy Rd. New Trail-head Parking is on the Left.]
Cross Vermont Trail Association Annual Meeting Agenda:
* Introduction of CVTA Board Members
* Election of 2024 CVTA Board Members
* Celebrating and recognizing the local volunteers and Town of Groton work to
improve rail trail
* Question and answer and discussion about exciting future of Cross Vermont Trail and ongoing work to repair trail from recent storms.
After the meeting we will go on a short bicycle ride or walk, East on the Cross Vermont Trail, to the Jct. Of Brown Dr. and Rte. 302 and back. [Shorter if you like] We are not having our regular Trail Ride this year as the trail in the Groton area is still under repair from summer storms. In October the town of Groton is planing upgrade to the Rail-bed/CVT. Continuing its VOREC Grant project of trail work on the rail-bed/CVT trail through out Groton. Learn about this and more at CVTA's Annual Meeting.
Then a short Bike Ride on a Bumpy Trail will make a Great Family Outing. Join Us.
We suggest an After Ride Lunch at Upper Valley Grill. Nice outdoor picnic table. Help support our local business along the trail.
