5:00 - Call To Order/ Welcoming Guests / Remind Procedure.
Approve Minutes of August 15, 2024, regular meeting. Action Likely.
Approve Agenda for September 19, 2024. Action Likely.

5:05 - Municipal Planning Grant for Road Planning. Action Likely:
Discuss whether Middlesex should seek a Municipal Planning Grant for work in 2025 to develop a 5-year plan for Middlesex roads. The grant would allow Middlesex to build on the work of the Road Committee and hire professional planners to work with the town to develop a 5-year road maintenance & improvement plan. It could also include additional surveying of residents & developing recommendations for road ordinances or policies for the Town to consider.
Applications in the fall for work in 2025 / Other Grants due dates?

5:25 - Discussion of culverts and the Town taking on responsibilities for keeping them clear and the correct size and material. Recommendation to Select Board. Action Likely.

5:45 - TEAM FUTURE TAKEOVER
1. Update on the asset management plan and how it can be used.
2 seeking ideas from our experts on:
a. Crowning the road in conformance with the AOT Better Roads standards
b. Getting the water off the road as quickly as possible
c. Reducing road width to reduce speeding(Eric has already indicated he has a plan)
d. Input on construction and operational costs for the Paving versus Dirt annual cost comparison.
e. best road material

6:10 - Review of answers to questions. Assigning Questions to team members who have not answered any.

6:20 - Plan for next actions due and task assignments due by next meeting.
