A very special treat is in store for you on Friday, September 27, 7:00 PM at Worcester's Town Hall. R. W. Bacon's "A Vaudeville Retrospective," an illustrated lecture, performance and exhibit, will be presented by the Worcester Historical Society. Mr. Bacon is a veteran performer, author and historian with Worcester roots in the Richardson family. His essay on a visit with George Richardson is found on page 266 in our "The Cow That Tried to Swallow a Potato" history of Worcester. He juggles, plays the saw and the banjo, and gives a fascinating overview of the Vaudeville Era, 1880-1930. This presentation is appropriate for children 10 and older. Admission is by donation.
