The weather's changing, and so are the clothes kids need. Come to "Kids Trade & Play" at the Capital City Grange Hall on Rt. 12 this Saturday, and get new duds for kids! You can take all that you need; if you've got it, we ask for a $5 donation per family. If you don't have that, please come anyway, we never turn anyone away.
KT&P has bins of inspected, clean, unstained and unripped clothes, sorted by size from newborn to Junior 10-12, laid out in bins in the Lower Level of the Grange Hall. Volunteers will help you find what you and your kids want. We also have a play area stocked donated with toys and books (also available to take home). We'll also accept donations of good quality, clean clothes from non-smoking homes during the event. Volunteers will be sorting the incoming items to add to the bins. If they don't meet our standards, we will ask you to take them home--we have limited storage space!
We can always use more folks to help out with this all-volunteer operation.
For more info, or to arrange other times to drop off donations, please contact KT&P director Erin Barry: birthsinnerlight@yahoo.com.
