The Williston-Richmond Rotary Club will host Debbie New of Vermont Community Thermal Networks as guest speaker at their breakfast meeting on Thursday, Sept. 26. A teacher and anthropologist by training, Debbie New has coordinated coalitions and working groups dedicated to decarbonization of the thermal sector. She launched the Vermont Community Geothermal Alliance and a Network Action Team (supported by Energy Action Network) in 2022 to support geothermal energy and put Thermal Energy Network solutions on the table in Vermont.
