Brookfield Historical Society's Marvin Newton House at 1133 Ridge Rd will be open this Sunday 2 - 4 and welcoming visitors. Come see our well preserved c1835 museum, once the residence of farmer/blacksmith Marvin Newton. We have a wonderful collection, lovingly displayed, of historical artifacts from Brookfield industries, notable residents, the Floating Bridge, ice harvest, and living and farming in our community.
This year's special exhibit expands on the historical One Room School House theme that is displayed on the fence in the park by the Floating Bridge.
Come and enjoy and learn!
