Green Mountain Dog Camp is hosting our first AKC Disc Dog tournament Saturday and Sunday from 10-3 at Memorial Park in Northfield. UpDog consists of various strategy games where competitors earn points towards an AKC disc dog title. Most of the competitors are local and we'll have live music by Barry Bender and friends starting at 3pm, have tamales and burritos for sale and have a dog equipment exchange where you can take, trade or donate used but clean collars, leashes, harnesses, etc. A special thank you to Kenyon's Hardware for supplying the beef cheeks and pup cups for the dogs!! Come out and have a bit of fun watching these super athletic and sometimes hilarious dogs play with their favorite toy, a frisbee!!
