On September 10th, 2019 the Blockhouse doors opened for our first ever class. We had no idea what we were in for, from a global pandemic shutdown to the amazing support of our community to the popularity of our pottery offerings. It has truly been an incredible 5 years! We've had a blast sharing what we love. We have watched people who had never touched clay flourish as ceramicists and become close friends in the process. We've watched valley kids grow in our after school classes and watched our own children grow up in the studio as well.

They say it's a major feat for a small business to survive 5 years. We have not only survived the first 5 years, but in all honesty, we've killed it! So on SEPT 14TH from 3-8pm we will be having a 5th birthday bash to celebrate Blockhouse and all the countless people who have made it what it is. We are so proud and so stoked to be here, going strong. Come help us celebrate! We'd love to hear your Blockhouse stories if you have any and meet you if we've never met before.

There will be food vendors, music, games, a raffle and lots of friends and community members to mingle with.
