Dear Community Members of Waterbury, Duxbury, and Moretown,
I hope this message finds you well. I'm Maggie Burke, Executive Director of Waterbury Ambulance Service, and I'm reaching out with an invitation to an event that brings our community together in a meaningful and enjoyable way.
On Sunday, September 15, 2024, we're hosting the 8th Annual Podgwaite Memorial Golf Tournament at Blush Hill Country Club in Waterbury, VT. This event is more than just a golf tournament—it's a special opportunity for all of us to come together, have some fun, and support two vital organizations: Waterbury Ambulance Service and our friends The Northfield Ambulance Volunteers.
This year's tournament is particularly important to us, as it honors the legacies of Mark and Betty Podgwaite, two beloved members of our EMS family who dedicated their lives to serving others. By joining us for this event, you'll be helping to continue their legacy of community care, with all proceeds from the day being split 50/50 between Waterbury Ambulance Service and Northfield Ambulance Volunteers.
Event Details:
Date: Sunday, September 15, 2024
Time: 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM EDT (Registration opens at 8:00 AM, Shotgun Start at 9:00 AM)

Whether you're an avid golfer or simply looking for a fun day out with friends and neighbors, this event has something for everyone. Along with the golf, there will be prizes, a 50/50 raffle, and the chance to win something extraordinary, thanks to our hole-in-one sponsor, Wilkins Harley Davidson.
What's in Store:
Prizes: Awards for top teams, including a Sportsmanship Award.
Hole-In-One Opportunity: Courtesy of Wilkins Harley Davidson—could you be the one to drive away with something special?
50/50 Raffle: Try your luck and possibly take home some extra cash.

This event is a wonderful opportunity to not only enjoy a day on the greens but also to support the organizations that work tirelessly to keep our communities safe. We would be thrilled to see you there, sharing in the spirit of community and camaraderie.
Please consider joining us for what promises to be a fantastic day, and let's make this year's tournament one to remember. You can register online today—don't miss out on the fun!
