Dear Community Members,

Please join us for our School Board meeting on August 21, 2024, as we kick off the new school year together. The meeting will be held at U32 in Room 128/131, with a virtual option available for those who prefer to join online. We highly value public input and will have opportunities for public comment at both the beginning and end of the meeting.

We encourage you to read our superintendent's letter in the board packet, which provides important information about our next three meetings (August 21, September 4, and September 18). During these meetings, we will be presenting data related to fiscal matters, programs, and facilities, both for our current configuration and a proposed reconfiguration. Each of these meetings will be preceded by a session with the configuration committee to preview the data and gather feedback. Our aim is to provide the most accurate information possible to support decision-making on these significant matters.

We will analyze staff utilization and projected needs, review student demographics, and examine historical budget and tax data. Our goal is to determine the optimal staffing structure based on the latest research, including insights on school size, classroom size, and our own AOE Education Quality Standards.
