Aug 21, 2024, 7 PM

The Cambridge Historical Society and Museum invite everyone who loves a good story to come and learn about the history of our very own Battenkill Books!

Heather Ferguson Boyd will share a history of the building at 15 East Main Street that currently houses Battenkill Books. Also, we will hear from previous book store owner Margaret Waterson and current owner Connie Brooks. Together they will discuss their roles in owning and running Battenkill Books—one of the area's best independent bookstores.

This program is free but a small donation is appreciated.

The Cambridge Historical Society and Museum is located at 12 Broad Street, Cambridge, NY. For further information call: 518-350-0627.

The house opens at 6:00 pm for tours ahead of the program.

The Historical Society's next Wednesday Evening Program takes place on September 18 and will explore the history of the seed companies of Cambridge. Be sure to join!

The Cambridge Historical Society and Museum is an independent museum chartered by the State of New York Department of Education. It is wholly maintained by donations and the work of its dedicated volunteers. Please consider supporting our work.
