The next meeting of the Newbury Book Discussion group will be Thursday, September 5th from 7-8PM at the Tenney Memorial Library. This month we are reading the modern classic "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil" by John Berendt. As described by the New York Times Book Review: "Elegant and wicked.... [This] might be the first true-crime book that makes the reader want to book a bed and breakfast for an extended weekend at the scene of the crime."
