Our last Block Party of the summer is on Friday, the 16th, with Faith Church, featuring pizza, music from Rosin the Beaux, lawn games, cafe beverages, and a live theater performance, from 6pm to 8pm, rain or shine! We will also be celebrating the accomplishments of everyone who participated in summer reading.
At 7pm, Bennington area's most talented actors bring the silly comedy of Will Shakespeare to life in The Rude Mechanicals, an excerpt of the best parts of A Midsummer Night's Dream! This family-friendly entertainment is short, sweet, delightfully funny, and appropriate for all ages. Pull up a blanket or chairs on the lawn behind the Library and prepare to laugh out loud! There will be one performance only. In case of rain, the show will go on across the street at Faith Church.
