I'd like to make all Pownal Residents aware of an information meeting that will take place this Thursday, September 19, 2024 at 6:00 that will discuss the current and future state of our Emergency Services. This would include the two fire department organizations, [Pownal Valley Fire Department and Pownal Fire Protection Association,] and the Pownal Rescue Squad.
The meeting will be held at the Rescue Squad building (22 Ladd Road) and will also be available by zoom using the link below.
I hope you will make it a point to attend or zoom in person to voice your ideas or concerns. Hopefully, the Town will make the video link available on the Town of Pownal Website Home Page for those unable to participate in the meeting.
