The UVM Morgan Horse Farm, Middlebury, Vermont, presents their signature annual Open House/Farm event.
This wonderful event features demonstrations of the Morgan Horse's versatility, utility, and training progression.
The horse presentations take place between 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. in our outdoor arena.
Bring a picnic lunch and enjoy the spacious grounds, and watch the mares and foals frolic in the outdoor arena from 12:00 p.m. to2:00 p.m. Food trucks will be here to serve lunch and treats. We will have authentic Mexican food and Sisters of Anarchy ice cream.
There will be coloring pages for kiddos, and back by popular demand…kids can color their own paper stick horse and compete in a hobby horse judging competition at 12:30 p.m.!
Head over to the main barn after 12:30 p.m. to check out educational displays, take a guided tour at 1:00 p.m., 2:00 p.m., or 3:00 p.m., a self guided tour of a real Blacksmith Shop, and of course, visit the Gift Shop.
