On Sunday, August 11th at 4 pm, acoustic duo Willa Mamet and Paul Miller will perform at the Old West Church in Calais as the third and last concert of the 2024 Music Under The Steeple series. Willa and Paul, two voices and a couple of guitars, make you feel like you're at the kitchen table with them. Folk, country, Americana, and grassy soul; searing originals and hand-picked covers for coming on twenty years. Together they make music that Mary Tilson (America's Back 40, KPFA) calls "One of my favorite duets in the world." Their two albums, East Hill Road and Let Somebody Love You, have won Times Argus best album of the year Tammies and Robert Resnik (VPR) had this to say: "Fine music masterfully played and sung. The stars shine when these two harmonize." Suggested donation $10-15 at the door.
**PLEASE NOTE: a) the performers have asked that all audience members wear MASKS to this show due to the recent COVID surge and other factors. You can bring your own, but there will also be masks available at the door.; b) the Old West Church is not wheelchair accessible.
