The ORDINARY & EXTRAORDINARY: mystical works by Regis Cummings.

The show opens with Montpelier's Art Walk and an Opening Reception on Friday, August 2nd from 4:30 pm to 7pm, and the show continues through October 15th.

Visitors will have the opportunity to speak with the artist.

Montpelier painter Regis Cummings has been very active, creating a new series of works in direct response to both the pandemic and the wars in Ukraine and Gaza. These paintings and collages offer a deep spiritual connection to the world around us—and reveal Cummings's fascination with the ordinary and extraordinary in all our lives. The exhibition is not only a nod to the decades of work produced by this prolific artist but provides the audience the chance to reflect on the challenges of our time and in our world as seen through the eyes of a visionary painter.
