The Rotary Youth Leadership Academy (RYLA) for District 7850, which includes parts of Vermont, New Hampshire and Quebec, took place in late June at the Vermont State University campus in Lyndonville. The weekend-long event for high school students involves learning about their own and others' personality traits and how to bring out everyone's talents. The weekend includes lots of fun activities as well as a community service project designed to build confidence and leadership skills.

At our breakfast meeting on August 1, we'll be hearing from students who were sponsored by the Williston-Richmond Rotary Club to participate in this summer's RYLA weekend.
