We've got a great event coming up in The Tasting Room at The Local on Monday, August 5th!

Get ready for a journey o the beaten path hosted by Lyle Railsback, founder of wine importer France+Western. Lyle is passionate about wine, seeking out unknown wines from small growers in France, Italy, and Austria, and then championing those wines here in the U.S. This tasting event is perfect for those wine lovers who are hunting for the treasures of the wine world's nooks and crannies. Lyle will be tasting our guests through wines from Southern France.

And most of these bottles will be exclusively available to attendees. Red, White, Rosé, this tasting will cover all the bases. We'll even be tasting a wine that was created to honor his daughter's birth. It doesn't get much more personal than that!

Named a "40 Under 40 Tastemaker" by Wine Enthusiast, Lyle's has enjoyed a varied career in the industry. After years of working in restaurants and as a sommelier, he moved in wine distribution and retail, spending 14 years with legendary importers Winebow and Kermit Lynch. In 2015, Lyle started making wines in California's Santa Ynez Valley with his brother, Eric, and then began importing wines under his own label, France+Western.
