We have three events coming up this month in The Tasting Room that we're so excited to share with you all!

First, join us for our monthly Open Mic Night hosted by Sarah & Derek in The Tasting Room on Thursday, April 18th. Doors open at 5:30pm & performances start at 6pm!

ALL levels of experience are welcome, and we encourage you to dig deep to find that songstress, dancer, poet, or performer that resides deep inside of you! There is so much talent in our little neck of the woods and we're happy to give you all a space to share it with others!

Register in advance whether you are performing, or spectating, or spectating until you work up the courage to perform as want to be sure to fit as many people in as possible. We will have a menu available featuring wine and beer by the glass as well as some light refreshments.

Next, on April 25th, we're celebrating "rosé all day" with our next Wine 101 class. This is a FREE event for members of The Wine Club and a steal at $35 for everyone else. The wine class is led by The Local's own Sarah Nagle, and she'll be jumping into thinking spring and summer with an exploration of rosé. Yes, please!

Sarah will be opening five different styles of rosé and we'll be paring all that with bread from Red Hen, cheese from Jasper Hill & Von Trapp Farmstead, and charcuterie from 5th Quarter!

Rounding out the month, "Pour Boys" Jack Garvin and Joerg Klauck are back in the Tasting Room on Tuesday, April 30th. Jack and Joerg are known for hosting creative and engaging wine tastings, so you won't want to miss this one, when they'll talk about (and we'll taste!) why there's never been a more exciting time than right now to drink the wines of Australia. They'll touch upon the evolution and innovation of Australian wines, emphasizing on the new growers, varietals, and regions available today.

Thanks so much to everyone that has come into the shop to pick up some wine or beer, and an extra special thank you to those of you who have attended an event in The Tasting Room! We're having such a great time here at the shop and it is all thanks to you who have made us a part of the community.

We have a couple seats open for our Open Mic this coming Thursday. The performances have been outstanding, the beer on draft is from Hill Farmstead, and the wine pairs perfectly with the evening. So RSVP today and we'll see you Thursday!

Then onto March! We have two ticketed events that have just a few tickets remaining.

First, on Thursday, March 7th, we're hosting a Spanish wine & tapas feast! Importer Chris Campbell will teach everyone about six amazing Spanish wines, while you enjoy tapas from Tucker Hill Inn owner & chef Steve White. Read more details here and grab your tickets today:

Then, on Thursday, March 22nd, Molly & Rachel from Von Trapp Farmstead will be tasting us through their cheese and Sarah will pair each cheese with a wonderful wine from the shop. Josh Turka of The 5th Quarter is also cooking up a special treat to go on each plate!
