Past event
Nov 12, 2014

Dear Citizens of Springfield,

Join us for an evening with the Springfield Police Department. on November 12th, from 6-8pm at the Springfield High School Cafeteria for a citizens forum on public safety.

Springfield Police Department will be looking to residents and tax payers for realistic suggestions and dialogue that will improve their quality of service and relationship within the community. This will be a moderated forum. Each person will have three minutes to share their concern and make a suggestion. Please note the importance of the suggestion!

For those who would rather write their suggestions, index cards will be available, and can be submitted to the moderator at the forum. Surveys will also be available to gather thoughts on specific topics like the School Resource Officer, Data Driven Policing (or Mapping), Methadone Clinic, and Where are the “problem areas” in Springfield?

This forum is being organized by a local committee of people who attended the Governors Forum on Opiate Addiction.

The Springfield Police Department is reaching out to the community for constructive feedback on services that are being provided and any issue of concern to them.

For more information please call Patrick Call at 885.2113 or email patrick.call@state.vt.us.
