2024 South Hero Recreation Bicycle Event #2 Tuesday!!! August 6, 2024
We all had a great lunch in Burlington on the first bike event on June 27. The next trip is to Plattsburgh by way of West Shore Road, the Grand Isle Ferry and the bike trail in New York for Ice cream and/or lunch! This is a group biking event for ages 8 and over to participate without a parent. Group size is limited to the first 20 respondents. Bring at least $5 for ice cream and bring snacks, lunch and plenty of water in a backpack for riding or a bag attached to the bike. Carol T can supervise 6 participants but will need another adult for each group of 6 riders. Riders need a good working road or mountain bike, a spare tube in case of flats. Meet at the Worthen library parking lot on Route 2 at 10 AM on Tuesday, August 6, 2024 and plan to be back around 2-3PM that day. Free event for anyone from South Hero who wants to participate and the Town Recreation department will cover the ferry ride.
