Bring your silverware to Election Day! Bring all your silverware that doesn’t match or doesn’t fit in the drawer. We will reuse it! Support CVU in its efforts to reduce its plastic waste.

Who: Williston, Hinesburg, Charlotte and Shelburne are all having silverware donation boxes on election day!

What: A silverware drive

When: Election Day on Tuesday November 4th polls will be open 7am to 7pm.

Where: The voting location of your town.

Why: Plastic cutlery is non-biodegradable, which can
leach toxic chemicals when handled improperly, and
is widely used. Worldcentric.org estimates 40 billion
plastic utensils are used every year in just the United
States. The majority of these are thrown out after just
one use.
