1st Annual Lamoille Pride Event
The Lamoille Family Center and the Clarina Howard Nichols Center proudly co-host the 1st Annual Lamoille Pride Event on Saturday June 29th from 10am – 2pm in the Northgate Plaza parking lot.
As part of Pride Month, this event is both a celebration and a demonstration of the work ahead to achieve true equality and safety for all LGBTQIA+ community members.
All activities and food are free at this family friendly event. Here's the schedule –
Food:
10am - first 100 attendees get a North Country Donut
10am - 2pm - Street Treats Ice Cream Truck, chips, baked goods, veggies, popcorn, lemonade
11am - 2pm - pizza, donated by Piecasso Family Pizzeria
Activities:
10am - 2pm - DJ and Karaoke, tie dye t-shirts, hula hooping, face painting, temporary tattoos, art activities, photo booth, music, lawn games & more
10am - 2pm - Info/resources from 20 organizations
11am - Pride Bingo
12pm - Remarks by Former State Representative and long-time gay rights activist Bill Lippert
12:15pm - Community March around Northgate Plaza led by green mountain roller derby skaters
1pm - Pride bingo
1:30pm – piñata
