This week's intense heat wave and extreme rainfall are leaving me anxious and upset about the climate emergency. I wanted to invite you to an upcoming event that I'm organizing with some friends.

What: Vermont Climate Heroes Gathering
Where: Burlington Friends Meeting, 173 N. Prospect Street in Burlington
When: Sunday, June 30th from 5-7pm
Why: To discuss direct action and civil disobedience and be in community with one another

This is a potluck event, so bring food if you want. Or just come and eat!
