Celebrate the lazy days of summer with wine, music, and tasty treats this Friday from 4pm to 6pm at Pierce's Store. Chamber duos for flute and piano will accompany appetizers and wine by the glass in Pierce's Garage.

Sandy Bragg will be hosting a free wine tasting on the porch of Pierce's Store, focusing as always on high-value wines. He'll offer a limpid Sauvignon Blanc from France and a graceful German Riesling, both on a deep sale at $9.99 per bottle, plus two organic reds, a yummy Piedmont ($13.99) and a savory Chianti on sale for $14.99. With luck, we'll include a sophisticated Provence rosé ($14.99) which is on pre-order and may be delivered in time for the event.
