Greetings neighbors!
Summer is upon us and with is comes the long-standing tradition of free band Thursday evening concerts in Morrisville. The Morrisville Community Band (formerly known as the Morrisville Military Band) has been playing for the area community since 1895!
If you are interested in being part of the band, our first (and only) rehearsal is Thursday, June 20, at 7:00 in the United Community Church, 85 Upper Main St., Morrisville. Bring your instrument and a music stand. All levels of players are welcome. Students: This is a great way to continue to develop as musicians during the summer!
The first concert will be at 7:00 on Thursday, June 27 at the Peoples' Academy Bandshell. Bring a chair or a blanket.

P.S. You'll also see postings from me about the Waterbury Band (I'm in both). Morrisville's concerts are Thursdays, Waterbury's concerts are Tuesdays, so take your pick!
