Join your Downtown and Old North End neighbors at this Thursday's Community Dinner and Wards 2 & 3 Neighborhood Planning Assembly.
The free, family-friendly, veggie-powered meal is 5:30-6:30pm with a Pride Month menu: Rainbow Summer Rolls with marinated Tempeh and two dipping sauces, Scarpaccia Tart, Cucumber Salad, and Confetti Cake. There will also be a special community weaving project during dinner.
The Neighborhood Planning Assembly starts at 6:30pm and includes a recognition of State Rep. Curt McCormack's decades of public service, an overview of the city's Juneteenth celebrations coming up this weekend, a discussion and vote on the Declaration of Inclusion, information about the July 27 ONE Ramble and how to get involved, an update on the Burlington city budget, and a report out from our state representatives and senators.
