Sleepy Hollow Inn, Ski & Bike Center in Huntington is gearing up for the popular Full Moon Ski Party, to be held this year on Saturday, January 11th, from 4 to 9 pm.
This annual event features
* Nordic skiing through silent woods on lighted and moonlit trails;
* a free ski lesson for all ages and skill levels from 4 to 5 pm (register at info@skisleepyhollow.com);
* ski and snowshoe rentals;
* a DJ and guitarist by two fires with hot chocolate and s'mores;
* Mexican food for purchase by the Taco Truck All Stars;
* a cash bar by Bevo serving wintery adult beverages; and
* goodie-filled Bivo water bottles and Skirack prizes hidden on the trails for adults and kids to find.
Plus for those who want to unwind in comfort past 9 pm, a few rooms are open at the inn.
