Salutations neighbors. The Boy Scouts of Troop 23 will host a flag retirement ceremony at the Camels Hump Middle School. This will take place on Saturday, October 25th towards the end the their first annual Prosper Pumpkin Chunkin' contest. If you have old, worn out flags that you would like to be ceremoniously and properly retired of service, please bring them to CHMS on Saturday between 9 AM and 3 PM. Do you have a flag to retire but can't join us? Please call Dylan at 434-4397 to make other arrangements. Those who come early can enjoy the spectacle created by flying pumpkins, gourds and apples, grab some lunch, keep warm around the scout fire and even pre-order your holiday wreath! So grab your jackets, ignore the showers and enjoy this community event with your family and friends.
