Lincoln Vol. Fire Company Food Drive

Past event
Oct 25, 2014, 9:30 AM to 12 PM

The Lincoln Volunteer Fire Company is organizing a food drive in conjunction with the Volunteer Fire Companies from the Five Towns. It is a Ten Ten Ten challenge. We are challenging our members and the members of the Lincoln Community to collect either ten pounds of food, ten food items, or ten dollars and bring them down to the fire station on Sat October 25th between 9 and noon. We will then drive them down to the Have a Heart Food Shelf. This is something the Bristol Fire Company does every year. Mark Bouvier, who organizes it for Bristol, said last year they collected almost 3000lbs of food. He decided to expand it to the other five towns. Let's rise to the challenge and drop something of on your way to the dump. See you Sat. Thanks Dan Ober, Chief, Lincoln Vol. Fire Co.
