Past event
Oct 28, 2014, 6 to 8 PM

The Winooski Natural Resources Conservation District (WNRCD) will host a Local Working Group meeting on Tuesday, October 28th, 2014 at Thatcher Brook Elementary School, 47 Stowe Street, Waterbury, VT. The meeting will run from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the natural resource issues and concerns of area residents.

Everyone is encouraged to attend to discuss soil and water conservation problems throughout the Winooski Conservation District. The District covers Chittenden County, Washington County and the towns of Orange, Williamstown and Washington in Orange County. This is an opportunity for Vermonters to share thoughts on a variety of natural resource issues ranging from urban runoff to invasive species. Information gathered will help the District set priorities for projects and applications to grants throughout 2015. Priority concerns also help inform ranking questions for landowners seeking funding from the Natural Resources Conservation Services (NRCS).

If you have any questions or need further information please feel free to contact Sophie Sauvé at (802) 828-4493 x110 or sophie@winooskinrcd.org.

If you plan to attend, we request that you RSVP.
