The traditional Memorial Day ceremony and flag placement will take place at the Village Cemetery at 2:00 PM. Friday, May 24. Our fifth and sixth grade students from Doty Elementary will recognize those who have given their lives in military conflicts involving the United States armed forces. Public is invited to attend the brief ceremony. Do not forget those whose blood was spilt that we may enjoy our freedom. Twelve soldiers from the Civil War and 2 from WW 2 will be honored.
