Gentle Yoga will be held in the library community room. All levels welcome, bring a mat or towel and any other yoga props that may add comfort to your practice.
Instructor Bio:
Hi, my name is Annie Parsons. I LOVE Yoga & Fitness! I grew up playing every sport, focused on tennis, competed as a Division 1 athlete, started running marathons in college and have not stopped running since. I worked for Nike for many years and was the Nike Global Tennis Footwear Product Line Manager up until my son Cannon was born. I am the Mom of two boys, Cannon 16 years old and Boone 15 years old. I have coached tennis, skiing, running, yoga & fitness classes. I believe the more you move the better you feel. I have found yoga to be one of the best additions to my fitness lifestyle because it has made me stronger, prevents injury, and calms my mind. My passion is sharing a fitness inspired life with others as a Yoga Fitness Coach and owner of Center Studio Yoga in Waterbury Center. I completed my yoga instructor certification at Yoga Vermont with Kathy McNames and I am certified in Yin Yoga with Bernie Clark & Diana Batts. Yoga will make you feel really good, enhance your holistic fitness and overall health & wellbeing.
