The Westford Public Library will be hosting a screening of A Place at the Table, a film about hunger in America on Wednesday, October 22 from 7-9pm.

"1 in 4 children don't know where their next meal is coming from. In a riveting journey that will change forever how you think about the hungry, A Place at the Table shows how the issue could be solved forever, once the American public decides that ending hunger is in the best interests of us all" (from the back of the DVD) This film was created by the makers of Food, Inc. Representatives from Hunger Free Vermont and the Westford Food Shelf will be on hand for a discussion after the film. Please bring a food item or a donation for the Westford Food Shelf. Refreshments will be served.
