If you've wanted to give fly fishing a try, the Waterbury Stowe Fish and Game Club is hosting an Introduction to Fly Fishing class on Wednesday, May 22, 2024, from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM.

We'll cover the basics of equipment, flies and fly selection, and a few different casts used to get your fly to the fish. This is a low-pressure introduction to fly fishing appropriate for ages 10 and up.

Space is limited, so please reach out to Bill Whitehair via email – William.whitehair@gmail.com - to sign up. I've got a few rod/reel combos to use for the class. Students are encouraged to bring their own gear if possible.
