The annual Welsh Harvest Festival for 2014 –a Green Mountain College tradition on our diversified farm (off Granville St.) featuring live music, FREE harvest-fresh food sourced from the college's own Cerridwen Farm and prepared by GMC students, including slow-cooked, pastured pork, soups, and bread, as well as family friendly, hands-on activities such as apple cider pressing, a haunted barn, pumpkin painting, and more – will be held on THIS Saturday, October 18th, 1-5pm on at the college farm & farmhouse just beyond the library. Parking is limited, so walk on over from Bentley or Main Street, or park in the college Dunton Hall lot. The Welsh Harvest Festival celebrates the traditional Welsh heritage of Poultney and its surrounding communities, as well as the bounty of this season's harvest.
