Please join us for this weekly Gentle Yoga class to relieve stress, increase flexibility and balance, calm the mind, aid digestion and sleep, and strengthen the body. We'll practice slow and relaxing stretches and asanas (postures) linked to different breathing techniques, and share a quiet, peaceful practice to soothe the nervous system and regain our center. No experience necessary. All are welcome! Chairs available for those with limited mobility or injuries.
What to bring: Please bring your open beginner's mind! Wear comfortable, layered clothing, and bring a yoga mat, a small towel, and a small blanket/throw.
Instructor: Joy Cohen, 200 hour+ Yoga instructor Certified through Yoga Vermont, and Yoga Alliance, with specialization in Chair Yoga and Restorative Yoga.
