The Winooski Gardening Group is excited to host our annual Plant Share on Saturday, May 20 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. Whether you just admire other people's gardens or are a gardener, please stop by.
This year thanks for to our UVM intern, Lucy we will be hosting master gardeners from UVM Extension. Lucy also grew daikon radish, green leaf tulsi basil and ping tung long eggplant to share with the Winooski community
Here are the guidelines for the plant share, check out the new items to share.
HOW IT WORKS
*Free event for all. Everyone is welcome to stop by & chat about gardening and to feel free to take a plant or two.
*Bring your surplus vegetables, herbs, houseplants, annuals, perennials, shrub and/or tree saplings, seeds and gently used and working gardening tool or equipment & gardening books.
*Label plants and have in give-away containers
*Plants should be pest-free & healthy
*Leftovers will be left adjacent to the gazebo for 24 hours.
*Please be respectful of other people's interest and only take your fair share.
